Seamless Steel Pipe(SMLS) is made from a solid round steel'billet' which is heated and pushed or pulled over a form until the steel isshaped into a hollow tube. The seamless pipe is then finished to dimensional andwall thickness specifications in sizes from 1/8'' to 36'' OD.

Cold drawn Seamless pipe is also called CDS pipes (colddrawn seamless pipes). It is used widely in machining parts, shafts, bearings,cylinders having strength of 75000 PSI tensile. It is a solid carbon steel rodwhich is pushed on to the mandrel to form the shape of tube.
